Community Room
Regulations for use of the Community Room are:
  • The library community meeting room is available at the discretion of the Board of Library Trustees to organizations for public meetings of non-sectarian, educational, philanthropic, cultural or civic nature. Commercial or denominational groups may not use it. The use of the room for library programs takes precedence over all other requests.
  • In fairness to the numerous groups in the community, the library is unable to accept reservations for a series of meetings, which would designate the library as the regular meeting place for any group or organization.
  • All meetings must be limited to no more than 50 individuals.
  • There is NO SMOKING permitted in any area of the library.
  • Alcoholic beverages may NOT be served.
  • Requests for the use of the meeting room must be made at least two weeks in advance. Permission for the use of the room will be granted to adults (21 years or older) only. Reservations will be on a first come-first served basis.
  • Organizations using the room will be responsible for setting up the room for a meeting and for leaving the room and the refreshment area in perfect order.
  • Nothing may be attached to the walls of the library.
  • Donations to the Friends of the Library for additional program furnishings and equipment are appreciated.
