Book Clubs at the JBPL

Knitters' Book Club  will meet Tuesday, November 25th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. The next selection is The Headmaster's Wife by Thomas Christopher Greene. Non-knitters welcome, too!

Mystery Book Club usually meets the 4th Thursday of the month. Next meeting will be on a special night - December 4th,  6:45 - 7:45 pm.
Next selection: Tatiana by Martin Cruz Smith. New members always welcome.

Ex Libris Book Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 11am in the Adult Program Room. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 11th. The selection is The Daughters of Mars by Thomas Keneally. This month's meeting will meet at a different location, since the library is closed for the Veterans Day holiday. Wednesday Readers Book Club
meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2pm. This month the club will be discussing Olive Kittredge by Elizabeth Strout. This month's meeting - November 19th.

A Caring Christmas Wonderland at the Jonathan Bourne Public Library
Community members and organizations are invited to decorate tabletop-sized Christmas trees which will be silent-auctioned to benefit the charity of its creators' choosing.

Trees should be delivered to the library
November 12th - November 15th
during normal library hours.

Zinio is a mixed service - the library has purchased 50+ magazine subscriptions for our card holders.  Zinio also sells magazine subscriptions individually. To use the Library's Zinio collection, click on the link above to set up an account and to download magazines from the Bourne Public Library Collection. Once logged in to Zinio, switch back to the "Return to Library Collection" tab or window on your browser to download more titles.  We have a number of magazines to choose from, including Us Weekly, Runner's World and Men's Health.  The Zinio app will work as a reader with your Android device, tablet, I-phone, and other mobile devices.  Check out all the great magazines today.  You will need a valid Bourne Library CLAMS card to access the titles.  Click here for a users guide on how to set up your account.
