Book Clubs at the JBPL
Knitters' Book Club will meet Tuesday, April 28th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. The next selection is The Glass Kitchen : a novel of sisters by Linda Francis Lee. Non-knitters welcome, too!
Mystery Book Club usually meets the 4th Thursday of the month. Next meeting will be - April 23rd, 2015, 6:45 - 7:45 pm. Next selection: Jackdaws by Ken Follett. New members always welcome.
Ex Libris Book Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 11am in the Adult Program Room. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 14th, 2015. The next selection to be discussed is The Light in the Ruins by Chris Bohjalian.
Wednesday Readers Book Club meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2pm. This month the club will be discussing My Beloved World by Sonia Sotomayer.

The CLAMS website and online catalog will be unavailable on Monday, April 20th, from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., due to system maintenance. During that time patrons will not have access to CLAMS catalog, Commonwealth Catalog, Overdrive, the Commonwealth eBook Collection and any other services that require logging in with your CLAMS card, such as Hoopla, Freegal and your CLAMS account.

Common Threads Poetry Events at the Jonathan Bourne Public Library
Wednesdays in April - April 8th and 22nd at 7pm and April 15th at 2pm
Join Poet Sheila Whitehouse for a reading and discussion of this year's "Common Threads" poets and their work.
Learn to write your own poetry and share what you write at an open mic session.

IRS Tax News
The IRS is not providing the usual level of tax forms and instructions because "IRS appropriations were significantly cut in the 2015 Omnibus Appropriations bill recently passed by Congress.
The library will ONLY be receiving the
1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ
The library staff can help you locate forms, instructions, and publications online to print them. However, staff cannot help you prepare or answer questions about your tax return. The most popular forms and instructions are also available on the left hand side of our website to download/print.

Jonathan Bourne Library 2015 Peep Diorama contest
Entries must be received by Friday, April 3rd
Each diorama must be based on a book or literary theme.
All characters must be portrayed by Peeps.
Make the diorama using a box the size of a standard shoebox - no larger than 10"X12".
Contest open to all ages - one entry per person.
Please limit the use of food items other than Peeps in your diorama.
All entries must be submitted with an entry form
All entries must be in good taste.
Entries must be received by Friday, April 3rd and judging will take place the week of April 13th by a panel of library staff members.
There will be several categories of winners ( family, teen, child, adult).
Winners will be announced on Friday, April 18th and remain on display at the library until April 25th and must be picked up by Saturday, April 25th.

Bourne Middle School students, grade 5 and older, are invited to join us at the Jonathan Bourne Public Library each Tuesday afternoon. Activities include WII games, art and more, homework help and just hanging out with your friends.
